Hosting
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you open a page, Netlify processes technically necessary data in server logs. This includes the IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and information about browser and operating system.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and stable delivery of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with Netlify.
Netlify also processes data in the USA. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. More details, including retention periods, are in Netlify’s privacy policy.

If you send me an email, I process your details in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete the message once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

The links to LinkedIn and Instagram are plain links. Data is only transferred to these providers once you click a link.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR. An email to the address above is enough.
You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
